Worker Bios
Alyse Jones
Alyse Jones is a senior at Louisiana Tech University majoring in electrical engineering and minoring in computer science and mathematics. After graduation, she plans to pursue her PhD in computer engineering. This past summer, she participated in UC Berkeley’s SUPERB REU, where she researched how to implement augmented reality in natural environments and 3D design. As the lab manager for TechX, she hopes to increase awareness of opportunities within the STEM field and encourage participation in the computing and engineering disciplines. Outside work and school, Alyse enjoys reading, watching Netflix, and spending time with her friends and family.
Breyton Mastronuzzi
Breyton is a fourth-year student at Louisiana Tech University studying Computer Science and minoring in Philosophy. His dream job is developing more personal and “smart” artificial intelligence, and eventually implementing that in robotic applications. In the summer of 2018 he interned with General Dynamics Information Technology in Bossier City, where he learned the ins and outs of GDIT business and got to spend time with multiple IT fields in the facility. Working at TechX, Breyton hopes to provide creativity and learning experiences through workshops and hands-on tech projects. Interests include traveling, video games, political activism, and most recently- sailing!
Megan Cox
Megan Cox is in her sophomore year at Tech, majoring in Cyber Engineering. Some of her professional interests include data analysis, software development, and cyber security. She is from Benton, Louisiana and after she graduates, hopes to continue to grad
school to study either cyber security or software engineering. Outside of work and school, Megan enjoys reading, doing jigsaw puzzles, and cooking.
Patrick Grant
Patrick Grant is a senior majoring in Computer Information Systems and is from Bossier City, Louisiana. The areas I’m more interested in within CIS are Information Technology and Database Management. As a TechX lab worker, I want to make sure that the lab is a great place for collaboration and for learning with the lab’s various hardware. Outside of being a student and a worker, I really enjoy playing video games.
